My sister's cat gave birth to seven adorable kittens Monday night. She had her first contraction at ten and then another at maybe ten o' five. Quickly we got her into a box and at ten thiry she had her first. Then at ten thiry four she had the second, ten thirty eight the third, eleven o' one the fourth, (okay I forgot the next two, but I'll post it as soon as I get off my lazy butt to go the the book) and the last came at twelve nineteen. We finally hit the hay at one o' clock exhausted.
I think it was three or four that we had to break the sack for Emma (since they came one on top of the other, quickly!) and at first one wasn't breathing and we started to panic a little bit. It all ended well and we didn't lose one, but I can only imagine how much pain she must have been in, and can only hope that I won't ever have to experiance that much pain at once. Or anything close to it.
Five black ones with Tort faces and two orange ones. Personally I like the orange ones the most, one because my first cat is an orange tabby (and has a high rate at being the father) and then again I probably just like those cute adorable orange balls of fluff.
